We are very pleased to welcome Alvaro García-Romero to the team. Alvaro is our lead physiotherapist.
He graduated as a Physiotherapist in 1998. Then studied studied for a Master in Osteopathy and a Master in Psycho-Neuro-Immunology. He has also studied his Sport Physiotherapy Master and is currently working on his PhD.
Alvaro has been lecturing at universities since 2006 and teaching abroad in different countries. He has been Program Director of Sport Physiotherapy Master since 2011 at Real Madrid-Universidad Europea and then was hired by Camilo José Cela University in 2014 for developing the first international Athletic Trainer Master accredited by CAATE (US) which was succeeded in the summer on 2019.
In the field he started to work with professional soccer teams in 1999 and then moved to the Spanish Swimming Federation until the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. In 2018 was hired by the Watford Football Club at the Premier League as a Health and Nutrition Coordinator.
